Student Accommodation & Educational Facilities.

One of the main development opportunities for NWP Electrical & Mechanical is the student accommodation sector. To date NWP have completed on developments with over 4,500 bedrooms in major cities across the country.

Student accommodation developments are designed to improve the student experience whilst studying away from home. Every scheme completed by NWP have consisted of a mixture of individual studios & cluster apartment. Each student receives their own en-suite bathroom. An increasing number of the developments now include research & study space for social interaction. Several recent schemes have also included gym, fitness suites & cinema rooms.

Educational facilities are becoming more specialised with these types of developments no longer exclusive to universities. NWP have successfully completed educational developments from Primary schools through to engineering institutes. Recent projects include Ysgol Rhosymedre, North Wales. Hartford Campus for the Mid Cheshire College & the National Graphene Institute for the University of Manchester & Strathclyde University.

NWP are currently progressing design & installation works at the Advanced Engineering Centre for The University of Brighton & The redevelopment of the Clerici Building for Oxford Brookes University.

Hotel & Leisure

NWP commitment to delivering a high standard of both design & installation is at the forefront of our Hotel & Leisure developments. We have successfully handed over schemes for Hilton Hotel (Garden Inn), Hotel Football & Café Football, Ramada, Travelodge & Macdonalds Hotel.

NWP have also competed various sporting facilities including The New Saints Stadium facilities, Hotel, Café Football & Project ’92 at Old Trafford & Lancashire County Cricket Clubs new Hilton Garden Inn Hotel overlooking the wicket at The Old Trafford Ground.

NWP Electrical & Mechanical first began expanding through the commercial sector in the late 90’s and have since completed major business parks across the North West.

Although NWP now regard Student Accommodation & Leisure facilities amongst its core sectors they continue to perform well within the Commercial sector with developments such as Premier Park, Winsford, Lime Barns Offices & The Narrow Lane office development.

Our residential sector covers a wide range of developments including Private housing, apartments, assisted living & extra care facilities. NWP have completed several residential projects since first pursuing the opportunity in 2005. Although many the successful hand overs were extra care facilities NWP continue to perform well within the other sub sectors.

NWP’s Extra Care portfolio includes developments in Llandudno, Colwyn Bay, Bala, Liverpool, Manchester & Dukinfield.

In addition, NWP have recently completed apartment complexes in Finsbury Park & Waterloo, London, Chester City Centre, Edinburgh, Liverpool & Caernarfon.
