Rhyl Mens Shed

Located on the grounds of the St. Marys Church, Rhyl he Rhyl Men’s shed offer a safe environment for men aged 18 & over to learn new skills & socialise with like-minded individuals.

Following the donation of an allotment by St. Marys Church the members of the men’s shed have been learning how to maintain the plot in addition to growing their own produce.

To further progress their skillset a local chef is invited in once a month to help turn the produce into a healthy meal.

The men’s shed opens 3 days a week offering support for individuals & the opportunity to partake in classes.

They hope to offer I.T group classes & welding workshop in the near future.

NWP’s Community Fund grant will assist in buying much needed tools & consumables for the wood workshop.

Leading up to the summer months members of the Rhyl Men’s shed will once again be producing their popular range of garden planters, benches & bird feeders.

In addition they also offer a garden furniture restoration services which also proved very popular last year.

Finally a portion of the grant money will be used to repair & maintain the garden following the recent storms.
